Why punta cana

With plenty of time left before our departure and having had our fill of rum, lobster and sunbathing, we decide to explore.

We also stumble upon a primitive turtle sanctuary run by a fisherman named Negro, who once earned a living by illegally hunting turtles to sell their meat, eggs and shells but who now protects them.

At sunset, our day comes to an end with an impromptu merengue lesson on the deck of the catamaran. The water, as clear as glass, and much cooler than the warm Caribbean Sea, provides a refreshing respite from the heat of the Dominican sun.

After lunch, we decide to stay for a round of golf. We choose Corales, designed by famed golf course architect Tom Fazio, which is set between rocky cliffs, coral reefs and the expansive Caribbean Sea, boasting six oceanfront holes. And even vegans find the perfect restaurants.

All Punta Cana hotels offer a great choice on buffets and a magnificent menu of la carte restaurants, but if you wish to dine out to mix and mingle with the locals you will find a great mix of amazing and unique restaurants and bars to go to. Prices outside of your resort are much less expensive and worth taking a ride to one of the shopping center Down Town. Most Punta Cana hotels offer a fantastic night program with dance shows, musicians and bars and yes you should go and see them.

But you will find exciting nightlife with sophisticated wine bars, cigar lounges and excellent c asinos in Punta Cana , as well as a diverse mix of local and international discos.

It would be a petty if you would miss to visit them. The three most popular night clubs in Punta Cana are Imagine — an underground cave that offers a unique acoustic experiences in 3 different sections of a natural cave, each with VIP bars and exclusive drinks.

Then there is ORO nightclub — Hard Rocks very own disco opens to hotel guests and public, playing a great mix of international music with fantastic dance shows. If you feel like it, you stay for a round on the roulette table or play a game of poker at the Hard Rock Casino Punta Cana next door.

The newest place and probably one of the hottest night clubs in Punta Cana is Coco Bongo in Down Town — phenomenal Vegas like shows with an ever changing night program that you want to keep enjoying all night long. If you like clubs — go! If you like shows —Go! If you want to do anything involving a great time- go! You can upgrade to a VIP lounge if you do not like crowds and get to enjoy a better view on an upper level.

Those who love water sports such as snorkelling or diving find Punta Cana to be a true paradise.
